Registration

You, the user must ensure that the details provided on registration or at any time thereafter are correct and complete by updating your profile.

The information that you give is held by The Vintage Paint Company to provide a full service and is used for the following purposes:

• To save you from re-entering your details each time you wish to log in and use the advanced facilities of the website.
• To inform you of The Vintage Paint Company products and services that may be of interest.

Suspension or Cancellation of Registration

The Vintage Paint Company may suspend or cancel your registration immediately at our reasonable discretion or if you breach any of your obligations under these Terms and Conditions.

Password

When you register to use The Vintage Paint Company website you will be asked to create a password. You must keep this password confidential and must not disclose it or share it with anyone. You will be responsible for all submissions under your password.

If you suspect that someone else knows your password you should notify The Vintage Paint Company immediately.

If you have selected to sign up to the sister site Perfect Restoration during the registration process, then your password for the two websites will be the same. However, please note that www.perfectrestoration.com has its own Terms and Conditions of Use. View these here .

Submission of Information for Fully Moderated Features

You are able to submit information for features within the website for public display. This information is moderated by The Vintage Paint Company before it is added to the website.

The Vintage Paint Company retains the right to moderate and edit all submissions of information prior to adding them to the website, and to remove submissions from the website at any time, without notice. The Vintage Paint Company provides no guarantee that information submitted will be added to the website.

The Vintage Paint Company also retains the right to cancel your registration at our reasonable discretion and without notice, should submissions be deemed offensive, unlawful or inappropriate by the moderator.

Forum Use

If you have selected to sign up to the sister site Perfect Restoration during the registration process, then you will be able to submit posts to the forum. Users of the forum must agree to the following rules:

The Perfect Restoration forum is designed to allow users to chat, offer advice and swap tips and stories. However, due to legal issues and the fact that we wish to be respectful to everyone who may want to use the forum, we must ask you to follow the rules below closely.

The Perfect Restoration moderators do not wish to censor messages submitted to the forum in terms of the opinions expressed; however, the forum rules must be followed. The Perfect Restoration moderators reserve the right to remove, edit or move posts at their discretion, with or without an explanation.

• No soliciting, advertising or promotion of goods or services:

  
  

  All unauthorized advertising or soliciting will be removed without explanation and without notice. This includes, but is not exclusive of;

  • Links directing users to external websites including advertising of products or services.
  • Advertising in signatures or on avatars.
  • Using a thread to indirectly advertise or praise a product (unless the post is a personal recommendation based on personal use).
  • Placing links to commercial websites over pictures.

Persistent breaking of the rules stated above may result in a removal of your registration / membership of Perfect Restoration and Vintage Paints, on either a temporary or a permanent basis. In addition to this The Vintage Paint Company reserves the right to ban users from the forums altogether via an IP ban, to ensure that rule breakers cannot re-register using a different email address.
